This notice explains how personal data is processed on cropvane.com (the “Site”) in accordance with Article 10 of Türkiye’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”). The Turkish version of this notice prevails in case of any discrepancy.
1. Data controller
Your personal data is processed by the founders of CropVane, Muhammet Arda Aytaş and Ali Kemal Yavuz (“CropVane”, “we”), acting as data controllers.

Visit statistics are collected without cookies, in aggregate and in a form that does not identify individuals.
3. Purposes
- Responding to requests submitted through the contact form,
- Conducting discussions about investment, accelerator programs and partnerships,
- Sending our pitch deck and product information upon your request,
- For demo requests, analyzing the soil in your field’s region and sharing the results with you; determining a suitable crop based on your field’s location and irrigation details; and preparing irrigation, fertilization and spraying schedules and sending them to you by phone or email,
- Keeping the Site and the form secure and preventing abuse and spam,
- Measuring Site performance with non-identifying statistics.
4. Collection method and legal grounds
Your personal data is collected electronically, partly by automated means, when you fill in the contact or demo request form and visit the Site. It is processed on the following legal grounds under Article 5(2) of the KVKK:
- (c): processing is directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract (investment and partnership discussions, providing the demo service you request),
- (f): processing is necessary for our legitimate interests, provided it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms (responding to your request, Site security).
5. Transfers
Your personal data is shared only for the purposes above and only to the extent necessary with the following service providers:

As these providers may operate infrastructure outside Türkiye (including the United States and the European Union), your personal data may be transferred abroad. Such transfers are carried out in accordance with the procedures set out in Article 9 of the KVKK. Data may also be disclosed to competent public authorities where required by law.
We do not sell your personal data or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.
6. Retention
Form submissions are not stored in a separate database. They are kept only in our business mailbox for up to 2 years after your request is concluded and are then deleted, unless a legal dispute or legal obligation requires longer retention. Security logs are kept for a limited period under our service providers’ policies.
7. Cookies
The Site does not use cookies for advertising, profiling or tracking. Visit statistics are collected without cookies. Bot verification (Cloudflare Turnstile) runs solely to secure form submissions.
8. Your rights
Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to:
- learn whether your personal data is processed,
- request information about such processing,
- learn the purpose of processing and whether data is used accordingly,
- know the third parties to whom data is transferred in Türkiye or abroad,
- request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data,
- request erasure or destruction of data under the conditions of Article 7,
- request that corrections and erasures be notified to third parties to whom data was transferred,
- object to an adverse result arising solely from automated analysis,
- claim compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing.
If you are located in the European Union, you may also have rights under the GDPR.
9. How to apply
You can send requests regarding your rights, together with information that allows us to verify your identity, to info@cropvane.com. We will respond free of charge as soon as possible and within 30 days at the latest. If your request is rejected, you find the response insufficient, or we do not respond in time, you may file a complaint with Türkiye’s Personal Data Protection Board.

We may update this notice when necessary. The current version is always published on this page, with the last update date shown at the top.
